Japanese leather vision crafted through Italian tradition

Incarnation is an Italian-based leather label founded by Japanese designer Keita Ogawa in 2009. After years working with Chrome Hearts and mastering leather under Isamu Katayama of Backlash, Ogawa moved to Italy to collaborate closely with renowned tanner Guidi 1896. The brand focuses on avant-garde leather jackets, footwear, and accessories made from rich hides such as horse leather, treated with hand-dyeing, distressing, and raw edge finishing. Heavy scar-like stitching, rugged textures, and minimal labeling give each piece a stark, almost brutal elegance. Incarnation embodies a fusion of Japanese precision and Italian artisanal heritage, resulting in leather garments that feel intensely personal and built to age with character.
